Welcome to Brian's first (official) blog post! Brian now promises to stop referring to himself in the third person...

I promise it's true... I've just PURCHASED an Enertia LE of my very own.  Why did I pay to own an Enertia when I can ride Engineering test bikes?  Well... I've got several reasons, but here are the key ones:

1. I believe in the product.  How could I expect customers to pay for this bike if I'm not willing to?  I think understanding the full customer experience will make me more sensitive to a customer's viewpoint, and to that end, I need to fully appreciate the cash outlay to own this product.

2. I've got some custom designs and tweaks in mind and I'd like to have full license to do whatever I wish to the bike whenever I wish to do it.

3. I've gotten so much enjoyment out of the time I've been able to spend on the Engineering test bikes, that I just want more.

Here's my spec: LE #07 of 30 (yep - my lucky number).  Graphite Silver.  Standard Seat.  Saddlebags when they're available (currently backordered).   Watch this space for more info on my bike, my mods, and my opinions on all things going on "behind the scenes" in the Brammo Product Development group.  You might just catch a glimpse of some upcoming products or hear about future events before the press gets the scoop...

  1. Awesome stuff. It’s great to see that you’ve purchased what you believe in. I agree. Been wanting something like this for a while now. But my commute is 50 miles and 60 mph isn’t quite enough. When you can run 100-120 miles at 70-75 mph I am in.

Great first offering. I’ll be watching for further product developments.

Good luck and congrats on the launch.

  2. It is great to see that the owner practices what he preaches, buying your own product lets us all believe in the product, the only enhancement that I would like to see other than the saddle bags is custom paint like cammoflage(lol), its an Army thing I guess. I have wrote you in the past about solar recharging station that would eleviate paying for any electric bill at all and make this 100% free ride. I will be buying one as soon as I recover from back surgery and am able to ride again. Thanks for such a great product.
