Visual models are important to begin to "feel" out a concept in real or scaled dimensions.  This first step from computer model to physical object is critical in the development of a successful product.  Models can be constructed from various materials from wood mock-ups to full sized 5-axis milling of epoxy blocks depending on intended use.
